Royal Vancouver Yacht Club is sponsoring a Race Management seminar for those interested. Three nights staring Wednesday, January 30th, February 6th and 13th at 7 pm at the club. Participants will learn the structure of the racing rules and regatta organization, how to set a course, how to manage starts, and lots of tricks and techniques to run successful sailing races at the club level. Course is given by John Culter (IRO). Fee is $20 and participants must bring a new rule book (available at the front desk). The course is suitable for those with significant racing or race committee experience, and is open to members and non-members.
