Scoring for the 2018 BC Sailing Circuit will be posted prior to March 1, 2018.

2017 Scoring:

Of the 11 regattas held, a sailor's best 5 will count toward the season's results, which will be awarded at BC Sailing's Annual Planning Conference. A sailor must compete in 4 or more events to be eligable.

The points awarded for each regatta will be dependent on the number of sailors:

  • If there are 10 or more boats in a fleet then 1st place will get the number of points equal to the number of boats, 2nd place one less, and so on.
  • If there are 7,8 or 9 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 10 points, 2nd place 9 points and so on.
  • If there are 6 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 9 points, 2nd place 8 points, and so on.
  • If there are 5 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 8 points, 2nd place 7 points, and so on.
  • If there are 4 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 7 points, 2nd place 6 points, and so on.
  • If there are 3 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 6 points, 2nd place 5 points, and so on.
  • If there are 2 boats in a fleet then 1st place will get 5 points, 2nd place 4 points.
  • If there is 1 boat in a fleet then 1st place will get 4 points.
