BC Optimist sailors Andrew Moreno, Lloyd Lyall, and Jack Rieder competed in the Optimist European Championships held in Lignano, Italy. The Canadian coach was Tine Moberg Parker. The light winds and hot weather were to Jack's liking, as he finished an impressive 20th out 158 boats. This is most likely the best ever finish by a Canadian at this event. Event Website.
