This summer, Comox is putting on a very fun weekend that we would like to invite you all to. We are running the 23^rd annual Comox Cup regatta Aug 3^rd and 4^th of this summer. We are hoping to have as many sailors as possible, especially Club420 and Hobie Waves, but all classes are welcome.

This event will be the BC Provincial 420 Class championships as well. We are hoping to top forty 420’s competing.

The unique thing about this event is the timing of everything. This event will be run adjacent to the Comox Nautical Days festival http://www.comoxnauticaldays.ca/index.php and down the road from the Filberg Festival http://filbergfestival.com/. Comox will be the happening place for all ages. It is a great family destination and you can anchor, or arrange temporary moorage through one of our four marinas:

In addition to the racing we will be having a provincial training camp hosted on Wednesday Jul 31^st, Thursday Aug 1^st, and Friday August 2^nd. Training will be run by guest coaches and is free for sailors bringing their own coach, $40 a day for visiting sailors coming without a coach.

Comox is gorgeous in the summer and we routinely get moderate thermal winds filling our busy bay. Each day we have close to one hundred boats participating in learn to sail courses and recreational sailing from a multitude of sailing clubs, or organizations.
